These Make It All Worth It

Exams are over, the teachers are busy packing up and I'm frantically trying to get my inventory done. In the last few weeks, though, I received these:

Grade 6

Grade 4

My students, especially the Grade 7s (who leave primary school to go to high school next year), have been generally wonderful people to be with. As a non-class teacher, I didn't expect many displays of gratitute. But I was given these two beautiful card, and even a present.

Not to mention the utterly classy way that the principal and other staff have treated me. They really do look after me here. Next year, I will be staying at this school as a full-time teacher. I'm excited to have a full-time position and really maximise the good I can do here.
